I am sorry to hear of the passing of David, he will be greatly missed. David was blessed to live a long time. Psalms 90:10 says that those who live to be 80 and older have "extra strength", David had that. May the fond memories that you have of him remain in your heart always as you seek comfort that only God can give at this time of sorrow.

To David's family, I remember many years when David worked at Leggett and the time he always took for my family as well as others. I always enjoyed his stories about searching for Civil War relics. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you all. Rawley T. Coleman Jr and Family.

January 01, 2013

Dear Lou Ellen, Mike, Fielding and Mrs. Thurston, no words can help with the deep loss you are feeling but know that Pat and I are praying that God will comfort you during this sad time. Thurston was a special friend to me when I was going up in Culpeper and he worked at Leggett's, you could always call on him for help or advice and he was a very know legible of all the civil war events in and around Culpeper County. A person with such devotion to all who knew him is hard to find. I will...
