Throughout her career, Deanna pursued a variety of professional paths with dedication and enthusiasm. She worked as a cosmetologist, an airline flight attendant, and later as a paralegal—each role reflecting her dynamic spirit and adaptability. Her professional journey showcased her commitment to learning and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
In the spring of 2023, Deanna made Gulfport her home. She embraced the local culture wholeheartedly and quickly became part of the community’s fabric. Whether it was through her warm interactions or festive spirit, she brought joy to those around her.
Deanna had a deep love for decorating her home for every season and holiday. Her creativity and attention to detail transformed ordinary days into celebrations. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes—a joyful activity she approached with flair and excitement.
Her beloved doggy fur babies, Ceasar and Oreo, held a special place in her heart. They were constant companions who brought her comfort and happiness.
Deanna is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Joseph A. Marchese Jr.; her mother, Joyce Kelson; her father, David W. Groda Sr.; her brother, David W. Groda Jr.; and her daughters, Hailey Eby and Tiffany Cocoran. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren who brought light into her life.
Arrangements are being handled by Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport, Mississippi.
