Not sure what to say?

As a great nephew of Della, I spent a good deal of time under my grandmother Vertie's dining room table during our summer visits.....attempting to avoid the embraces for "suga". Inevitably she would get her way with the help of her sister Margaret (Janie) and extract what little sweetness I had. As much as I may have protested outwardly, they were always welcome and assuring times as she made you feel so loved.
We will miss her while feeling so fortunate to have been part...

Della was a very sweet lady I have known all of my life. She was the sister of my Aunt Vertie who was married to my Uncle Phil Lipe. Many times I have felt a part of the Alexander family because of the close family ties of the Lipe and Alexander families. We have lost a wonderful lady.

she was sweetness and love..just seeing her picture made my heart smile..she gave us all something to remember..hope

Miss Della was such a special lady. I will miss her waving at me when she came into church. Thom you will be rewarded for taking good care of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We loved Aunt Della. From the summer visits to Landis as a child, to the family vacations there with my husband and children, no visit was complete without spending time with Della. She could make you feel like the most special person, was a wonderful listener, and just so sweet and loving. Always a lady. We will miss her so much. Sending love to all of the Alexander relatives from Lori, Joe, Sam and Matthew, and thanking Thom for taking such good care of her.

Della was a beautiful and loving aunt who cared deeply about every member of her family. I shall. miss her greatly! What a privilege it is to be a member of this closely knit family. I cherish memories of growing up in their midst. Special love to them all----especially to Thom who helped her so much.

Della was the sweetest woman ever. I have wonderful memories of my summers in Landis as a young girl.

Miss Alexander was such an inspiration to me. For many years, I wanted to be a 2nd grade school teacher, as she was mine, and I thought the world of her.

1.....2.....3.....I....LOVE.....YOU !!!
