To the Baltazar family,
I did not know "Jim" Baltazar, but he must have been a very special man. I have read many of the sympathy expressions that other people who knew him wrote about him. I can only say, After reading about him, I can only wish there were more men (and women) like him in this world. It would be a much better place to live in. If Jim knew the Lord as personal Savior, I will meet him some day. May the Lord bless your family.

Jim made every day special for each person who crossed his path. He freely shared his compassion, sense of humor and deep intelligence. He was an extremely loving man who was very generous with his affections. It is a huge loss in my life and I am sure that is so for many others. Know that Jim's EBMUD family will have your family in our hearts and will grieve his loss with you. We are all better people for having known Jim.

To The Baltazar Family: You have my deepest sympathy. Please know that you are not alone I, as well as Jim’s EBMUD family, share your loss. Our lives will not be the same without him. Knowing Jim has been a pleasure and I feel so honored and blessed to have known him. I miss him dearly! I miss his infamous “salute” greeting and hearing him call me Miss Leslie. He was truly loved and I hope knowing this will give you comfort.

To the Baltazar Family:

I am honored to have known Jim. He had a unique way of making people feel special and respected. Jim gave me two titles that I am proud to keep: Ms. America and Ms. Philippines! If he made people feel special, he himself was special, sincere, generous and compassionate. His courteous greeting, warm welcome and the great titles he bestowed upon many -made a great difference in our work lives. Through his professional demeanor, Jim gave a lot to us and...
