Not sure what to say?

You were absolutely my favorite person when I was in high school!

Diane, we will miss your passion and never ending dedication. I am sad I did not hear of your passing until today. God Bless and thank you for all you did. My sincerest condolences to the Batson family.

She will be remembered in the hearts of many for her many contributions to our community. I thank her for all that she had done in my life.

Sorry to hear about Diane's passing. Our condolences to her brother Mark.

Ms. Batson was my teacher for junior seminar in 1987. She was an inspirational teacher--if slightly terrifying!

She wasn't willing to settle for anything less than our best and had no use for sloppy thinking. That seminar was one of the best classes I had in high school.

Know that she is remembered--and remembered fondly!--by those she taught. Wheaton Central was lucky to have her as a librarian and teacher.

I always appreciated Diane's skills as a librarian and as a Latin teacher at Wheaton. Being a Latin teacher there myself, we had the chance to discuss methods and books and she was truly an inspiration.

History and preservation lost a great friend in the passing of Diane J. Batson!

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
