Not sure what to say?

So sorry Carol to hear about Don. Indian Ridge will not be the same without him. Especially to us outside guys. He was always so kind as were you. I pray the Lords peace that passes all understanding be with you and your family at this difficult time. Hope to see you soon, Carol...Lute

But we do not wish you to be ignorant about those who have gone to their rest, brothers, in order that you may not grieve the same as the others do, who do not have a hope. 1 Thes. 4:13

Carol, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Coach, I am so thankful you came to Colorado and I was fortunate to get to know you through my dad Fred Casotti. May you always remember the wonderful 61 years you had with each other.

In 1988, Coach James met with a group of Redmond Jr. High students. The meeting was a reward for outstanding grades and accomplishment on the athletic field.
The first thing Don asked was, "how many of you go to church"....the conversation went on and a young man asked, "what are your goals this year?". Coach James replied, to run a marathon and read the Old and New Testament front to back! That got their attention! and they didn't have Books on Tape!
What a guy....

Dear Carol,
I have so many wonderful memories of Coach James and you during our time with the team. He was an incredible man, a great role model for the student athletes, as well as the staff, with high standards and concern for everyone. Needless to say, he was a great coach, as well. May God bless you in your time of mourning. Patty (Hall) Woodruff (former wife of Rick Hall)

Sorry for your loss. May God be of strength and comfort during this difficult time. John 16:22

My dearly departed Father (Warren "Toar" Haines) was a cousin of Donny James and he always spoke so highly of him. I extend my most sincere condolences to the family of this dear man.

In Prayer,
Ronda (Haines) Pett
