Ricky, Karen, Mike and Betsy,
Always fond memories of our time spent with your family. I have a lot of uncles and still "Uncle" Donnie was a favorite of mine! Always sweet and funny. My most distinct memory is of being at one of the Schilling family picnics. He and I were messing around with our slices of my Grandma's birthday cake, when all of the sudden he took his and smashed it in my face. I couldn't believe it, we laughed, he was a big kid at heart! Anyway, I want to offer all of you my condolences, and wish you peace in the days ahead. I made a toast to your Dad from our Colorado mountains at his happy hour time. Hugs to all.

Paul and I met through Ethna. I bonded with him right away as I was born in Roseland.

We had several dinners with Don and Ethna over the years. We loved him as he was so kind to our dear friend Ethna. Grateful for the relationship they had together.

Shared many good times with Don and Betty...at the Elks Club in Dolton and on the many golf trips we took together with the Darlings and Reids as we "teed up" all over the country. Don was an all-around good guy with a great sense of humor we all enjoyed. Rest in Peace, Don.
