Not sure what to say?

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Mrs Smiley was also my 4th grade teacher at Rosewater School. She was a great teacher. She will be missed dearly. Thoughts and prayers to the family. May she rest in peace.

All but one of the 5 Kilgarin sibs were 4th grade students of Mrs. Smiley. She taught my class how to play the recorder/flute - I'm not sure how she managed to get through that without a pounding headache but she was there everyday, fire red hair aglow, always impeccably dressed, teaching her students. She touched many lives. My condolences to her family.

I remember Ms. Smiley as being a very calm and collected person that just really had it all together. I remember when she broke her arm bowling if I recall correctly she never missed a day of school even then. She is a very fond memory of attending Rosewater. Job well done...Rest in Peace.

I was one of Mrs. Smiley's 4th grade students at Edward Rosewater school in South Omaha in 1976. I remember her standing up at the chalkboard teaching us cursive handwriting. :)
I loved reading her bio, it looks like she had a long distinguished teaching career.
R.I.P Mrs. Smiley
Sincerely, Mrs. Shawn Claycomb Hough
