“Thank you Aunt Dot for always making me laugh, you and your opened cabinets will always be a memory that makes me smile, Thank you for calling on me to help take care of Uncle Billy when he was so sick, It was such and honor to have taken care of him. I know that when Jehovah makes things right, I will see you and Uncle Billy again, I love you and miss you always.
“I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Toland's passing. She was a wonderful lady and the BEST kindergarten teacher I could have ever asked for :-) She always had a kind word and a wonderful smile that made you feel relaxed and ready to learn. She is the one who discovered that even though I was a leftie I needed to use right handed scissors (after me crying my eyes out and didn't want to go to school) she sat with my mother and I and had me try using my other hand.....what a smart lady! RIP Mrs....
“Greg and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. May your memories help to ease the pain and bring a smile to your heart. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
“To the Toland Family
My sympathy on the passing of Dot. Dot was a wonderful friend, colleague and teacher. She added wisdom and wit to the halls of Davenport School. Rest in peace, Dot.

“to one of the best teachers i ever had in school in Absecon and will never be forgotten by the many lives you encouraged
“Thank you, Mrs. Toland, for being one of the best teachers I ever had. You were a contributing factor to any success I may have had in my career as an eductor. As a colleague, you were tops. You made a great difference to countless students and fellow teachers.
“Mre. Toland it was an honor and privilege to have you as a kindergarten teacher in 1968, you were a very sweet and kind lady. My daughter also had the honor and privilege to have you as her kindergarten teacher some 25 years later. Thank you for helping to make my daughter and myself the kind of people that we are by sharing your values and kindness in us. R.I.P.
