Not sure what to say?

I last visited with Doug in late August with a Pete Corrigan. It was a good time and we visited for quite a while. I hadn't seen Doug for a few years but he was just like he always was.

When I worked with Doug back in the 90s I remember at first wondering what kind of guy is this? He whistled all the time, ate nonpareils and sang crooner songs. He was an original! Over the next six years I worked with him (he sat in the cubical next to me)we talked incessantly about sports,...

I had the privilege of working with Doug at NWS for 21 years. I valued Doug's professionalism, knowledge and his sincerity. I am saddened to learn of Doug's passing. I worked with Doug at NWS in the late 80's - early 90's where I enjoyed his passion for his work, his incredible sense of humor laced with sarcasm, his humility, his smile, and his competitive nature while searching for parking spots ("sharking"!). This very warm photograph of him is exactly how I remember him, and how I always will remember him. My condolences to his wife, children and extended family.

We keep you in our prayers and give thanks to God for Doug
