“Love and prayers to Alta, Peggy, Ashley, and the whole family. Doug will be missed.
“Deepest condolences to Doug's family and friends. I had the honor of working with Doug for 25 years at MPD."Squeaky" or "Dougie Poo" as he was called by fellow Brother officers was a true Cop's Cop! Doug had a great knack for police work and I always thought that he would actually find Jimmy Hoffa's body & killers. We worked Beat 8 together for many years, and he always had my back. I lost a treasured comrade and great friend.
“So sorry to learn of Doug,s passing. I have known him for years and years, best man at our wedding, pool parties, cook outs and he even shared the honor of having his name shared by our first born along with my brother. Always so much fun, will miss his laughter that sad to say haven't heard due to " busy life", but thought of him and his family often. Prayers for the family.
“Doug was the very best Brother-in-law anyone could have. He was always there for all of us. He will forever be missed. We Love You
