Dombrovskis, Dzintra age 72, was summoned by the Lord Sept. 9, 2013 with her sister at her side. She will be deeply missed by her sister Skaidrite Elza and her cousins, Astrida and Linda, with their families and many co-workers and friends. Born in Riga, Latvia, Dzintra immigrated to the United States in 1950 with her family. She went to the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Medical Technology and worked in the field until she retired. She was an active member of her church where she served as an usher and supported several Christian organizations. Dzintra was preceded in death by her parents, Andrejs and Katrina; and her brother, Arvids. She has relatives in Latvia whom she visited on a number of occasions. Dzintra loved animals and enjoyed gardening. She was a wonderful caregiver to her mother in her waining years. More recently she developed a passion for the culinary arts because of her own dietary restrictions. Funeral service will be held at the Latvian Lutheran Church, 3152 17th Ave. S., Mpls, MN, Monday, Sept. 16, 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
