Lalo, although I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a very short time, I am very sad knowing that you are gone from this world. I know, though, that you are in a better place now, free from pain and full of peace in your heart.
I will always treasure the fun memories from when you lived with Albert, and I am very thankful that I had the honor of knowing you and that I had the opportunity to thank you for your brave service in Vietnam.
Rest in peace, Lalo.

Lalo,
I have thought of you often, I did not know you were so close. I received a call today, and they told me you were in the hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late. I will keep you in my prayers. I will never forget you and all the good times we had. Love, your friend Dolores "Dee" Quintana
