Our condolences go out to the Driggers family.

Marcia I didn't know until this evening that your father passed away. When I called you from the airport today I had no idea. I wish I could have been there with you and your Mother yesterday. I know that your hearts are breaking. If I can help you and your Mom just let me know. Don't hesitate to call. My love to you. Dot

We have always admired and respected Mr Driggers and were blessed with friendship for so many years. We are sorry for your loss and ours. God Bless

Kenneth, It was just a couple weeks (or 3) that we had a moment with your Mom & Dad and your Sister. On their 70th wedding anniversary. Your Mom mentioned you staying with them every night. There was much happiness as we had a moment together. We extend our love and symathy to all your family.

Kenneth, My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Back in the mid 1950's I worked as a reporter for the Eagle's Society Dept. Even though, technically, Lois Hall was my boss, Ed, as managing editor, introduced me to general news reporting, let me try my hand at writing features, assigned me a weekly grocery bargain shopping column, and saw that I was introduced to photojournalism. I even got my first experiences at "ambulance chasing." Always a true Christian gentleman, he was a man to admire and respect. I've never forgotten...

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5. Ed was managing editor of THE DOTHAN EAGLE in 1960, when his state editor, Ken Hogg and I married. When Ken died in 1984, Ed was one of his pall-bearers. Ed was a fine, Christian man with a fine family, and highly regarded by many. So many young writers cut their teeth under Ed's watchful eye, and handy editing pencil, and I am sure they all feel the loss of a good supervisor and friend. God Bless you,...

Kenneth,
Ann and I are so sorry for your loss. We are thinking about you and praying for your family today.
