Not sure what to say?

Frankie, Sadie and Family,
Please accept my deepest regard and prayers upon the passing of your dear family treasure. Mrs. Woods offered so much "quiet" encouragement and support in my first two years in education at Peeler Elementary. She also had a special touch with my daughter who started kindergarten in her unit/classroom at Peeler. She also spoke so often of her son Frankie that I felt that I already knew you, Frankie, when we met. She leaves a wonderful legacy.

To The Woods Family,

Mrs. Woods was my first grade teacher many years ago at Sedalia Public School. I attribute my view of education and teachers as a tribute to her. May she rest in peace.

To Frankie, Family and Friends,

Your mother's golden smile and her pleasing manner of welcoming to her world all who came in contact with her was a gift from her heart. I recall in the early 1950s when she was teaching at the then Sedalia High School, how delighted she was to see me and my classmates from Caswell County High School in Yanceyville, North Carolina who came to participate in a school activity at her school. Her memory wil be forever locked in our hearts.

To The Woods Family,

Mrs. Woods was truly a wonderful, spirt filled woman with a quiet spirit. She truly loved her family and her St. James Presbyterian family. I know of a lot of things that she did for the girls of NYDIA,that she never wanted recognition for. My heart is sad but I know Heaven is happy to welcome her home.

Frankie and family,
Your mother gave me an educational and moral foundation. She was not only a dedicated teacher but a life long friend. Mrs. Woods remembered aspects of my life. I treasure the time I spent with her. I am happy that I was able to spend about two hours in your home remembering old times. God bless you and your family. You were wonderful to her and she loved you all very much. Your classmate, Steph.

I taught at Peeler with Marienne. She was such an amazing teacher and she certainly inspired me. She touched the lives of so many children and I know each and every one benefited from her love and guidance.

Even after she retired, Marienne continued to visit Peeler for special occasions. She inspired all of us with her grace, her wit, and her commitment to children and their education. Her legacy will live on in all those she touched.

To the Woods family,I was truly sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. Woods. She was such a wonderful caring person to all who knew her.I was always happy to see that beautiful smile of hers in church on Sundays. She will be greatly missed.May God bless you Torie and Carmen and may you cherish the memories forever.

I worked with Mrs. Woods as a Sunday school teacher when I first joined Saint James several years ago. She was such an inspiration, always smiling and always offering kind words. She will be missed. May God be with you during this time.
