“I was very sorry to see that Elmer had passed away. I first met Elmer and his brother Larry in 1964 at a scuba diving class at the Bangor YMCA. I got to know them both and went diving with them a couple of times but my fondest remembrances were of sailing with them on their schooner out of Stockton Springs.
