Not sure what to say?

Esther and Martin were an important part of Temple Sinai, their never ending work to keep our congregation together their.kindness to all of our congregation and their giving of time and finances . Esther was their when my father and mother passed. Their feelings were from the heart. When my mother was sick and not able to attend services they always asked how she was getting along. Her intelligence and her will to learn was second to none. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Esther's passing. She & Marty were good friends with my parents (Brad & Shirley Steiger) when they all lived on Wabash. I remember as a young girl riding to School 4 with Esther and my Mom, when I would go for visits. The conversation was always lively. Esther was a generous, kind and very intelligent woman. My mom fell last summer and was moved to Beechwood's rehab wing and Esther visited her there and it was so kind of her. She was so sweet to me when I saw her...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother. May all your memories comfort you in the days to come.

It was a blessing to know Esther from the Byron Dig. May her soul and the souls of all the departed rest in peace.

For all of us at the Byron paleo dig, Ester was that wonderful grandmother who kept us in line. Her opinion on anything was freely and often given. And she was right. She will be missed.
