Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Alan, and all the nephews. Uncle Earl was one of a kind.
Debbie, Dick, Casey & Spencer

Earl was like a father to me and I feel honored to have known and been loved by him. Truly an awesome man! I will treasure my memories of him forever. May God Bless all the family during this time of your loss.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of a fellow C&P person. I worked in Engineering in Roanoke before Earl retired. Earl's family are in my prayers.
Rosetta (nee:Farris) Howard

Much love to all of the family.

The Spindle's and The Moreheads

Rhonda, we are so sorry for your loss of your Father. Earl was a beloved cousin and we have many fond memories of him. Truly, Edith Stultz Palmer, Frances S. Fleming (of Martinsville), and Valary Fleming Lejman (of Chesapeake)

Everything said about Earl in his obituary is true. My husband worked with him at C&P. My husband was recovering from surgery many years ago and our furnace went on the blink. Earl called to see how Dick was and when he found out we were without heat he came right over and spent many hours fixing it for us. He was so kind. I wanted his family to know how much that act meant to me and to my (deceased) husband.

My family so loved Earl. He was a wonderful friend to my Dad for many years. I will cherish all the memories I have of your father. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Much love

Rhonda, Iam so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. He was such a great guy and always fun to be around. I know my dad loved him very much.

No matter how old we are, losing a loved one is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But their goodness, caring and their wisdow live on like a legancy of love that will always be with you. Just as your dad comforted you, may the memory of his love surround you now and bring you peace.
