Mr. Dowdy's title at West Virgina American Water Company was Superintendent. His role was friend, mentor, counsler and most importantly leader. Mr.Dowdy was and still is the most respected leader the Huntington District ever had. To this very day, when we have a difficult situation someone thinks or says "what would Floyd do?" I personally owe my career to Mr. Dowdy. He changed my life. RIP Floyd.
