I am sorry to hear of the passing of your wife Gaylynn. It is always hard to lose a loved one, especially when it is your companion. Please express my sympathy to Gaylynn's parents for me. Wally was my second principal while teaching in Wendover before moving to Roosevelt. May the Lord bless you as you move forward to raise your family.
“You were extremely courageous and will be missed by all! Love to your family always.
“Ron and Family, I wish to offer my heart felt condolences for the loss of your wife and mother. May God bless you and keep you.
“May the Love of our Savior and the knowledge of forever families be comfort for the Mortensen and Gurney families. I knew you as a little girl in Wendover. It's been many years, however, the wonderful impression has lasted all of this time. You look as I remember - your mother.
“Dear Mortensen family,
We love you and are deeply grateful for the strength and faithfulness that Gaylynn showed in her life and in this trial. She had complete trust in the Lord, and in His plan for her. We love you all, and know that our hope is in our Savior...Ours is the victory. It will be alright in the end.
Love always, Darin and Melanie Dewsnup and family
“Gaylynn, I love you and thank you for being my great friend for 22 years. I will miss you. May God bless Ron, and your kids until you can all be together again.
“To the Mortensens,
We love your mom and wife. She was such an example of a righteous mother. She loved you kids dearly and was only concerned for your well-being. She was kind and only said kind words. She taught us so much! We will miss seeing her at the shaved ice stand each summer.
Lots of love!
“So sad to hear of Gaylynn's passing. She is an amazing influence for good whose example I will never forget. She was my Visiting Teacher when you first moved to Herriman. I am so grateful to have known her. May the Lord bless you with peace and strength.
