Gene Hopkins

I grew up with Gene, Lawrence, and Howard and their sisters in Campostella. They were all good, wonderful, solid people. After high school, we all went our separate ways. However, I still have flashbacks about the wonderful times I spent with Gene, Lawrence, and Howard. I admired them. When I would come home to visit my parents, Gene would stop by and have long talks with me and my parents. In Gene, we have lost a giant of a man. May God bless him!

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Although we did not know Mr. Hopkins personally, we know Mercedes, his daughter. She is a wonderful lady and a fine example of kindness and love. May you be comforted at the tender time, that others are thinking of you.

I only knew you for a short time through your Granddaughter and Wife.When ever I would speak to you, you will always greet me with a big huge smile. You really meant alot to them. Your are their angel. I know this is a hard time for the entire Family. My heart goes out to the Family in this time of lost.
