My great great grandfather, Johan Henrik Thomander, was Archbishop of Lund, Sweden, and was the first to bear that name in Sweden. Is it possible that we are related to the deceased? Alan Thomander (435)753-2527

George was a memorable person. We treasure the memories we have of the whole family. You are in our thoughts.

Tenker på dere.

Our sympathy and prayers and puppy hugs. See you soon.

Thank you Gary for that beautiful story of my dad. I did not know that about him and it made me so proud. I would like to contact you one day, if possible. Please email me if you could at

I worked with Georg from 1977 until he retired from Onan. By the time I started, Georg was already an icon at Onan, and in the industry, due to his engineering and marketing expertise.
I'll always remember going into his office to ask him a technical question (timidly), and nearly every time he'd say, "what do you think the answer is?"; and then we'd talk until I figured it out. He was light years ahead of me in engineering...but always patient and oh, the things I learned....

Please accept our sympathy and prayers

Thinking of you and your family.
