“I played with George in the early 70's with the Mustangs. I learned a lot from George and we had some great laughs together. He would line up for a play and tell the DB to back up because he was going deep. It didn't matter how far back he would go, George would run right by him laughing. He is still the most beautiful runner I have ever seen. It's been 40 years since we played together and I still talk about him. Sounds like you had a very rewarding life George, you touched many lives....
“My deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to Ola and the entire Anderson family. George coached me when I ran track for the Omaha Skylarks, he was the best coach I ever had. George inspired me with his knowledge and passion for both track and life.
