“I am a first cousin of George, his Father was an older brother of my Father Bob. I was born a month before George but hardly knew him because he lived in Waco while I grew up in Denver. I did get an opportunity to get to know him a little better when he came to Denver with the Jets when they played the Broncos twice in the seasons after their Super Bowl victory over the Colts.
