“The Tangen Family,
So sorry to hear of Dr. Tangen's passing, what a great man and glad to have fun memories of us playing capture the flag. Wish I could've been there for his life celebration. God Bless
“The Tangen Family,
“To Jeanne, and the entire Tangen family. Our thoughts are prayers are with you at this difficult time. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of time spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. Much Love, Paul & Linda Jackson and family
“Jeanne and family,
What fond memories I have of George and the rest of the Eden Prairie City Council who welcomed me as a new Pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church seeking a Conditional Use Permit to construct our first Church Building...and then a second! A dispute between Council Members arose about who would have the opportunity to make the motion! George made me feel so welcomed and encouraged!
35 years have passed and so much leadership that was expended back then makes so...
“Our very deepest sympathy to Jeanne and her family. George was a wonderful person and a stalwart Board Member for our Indigo Run Community.

“My sympathy and condolences to George Tangen's family over his loss. He was a good friend and an excellent physician. I saw many patients for him and his father, so I was well aware of the high quality of care their patients received. He was a great physician and person and our society will miss him. Donn G. Mosser, M.D., Radiation Oncologist at the U of Minnesota and Abbott-Northwestern Hospital.
“Jeanne - rest assured you and George are well remembered in Hilton Head. Please know you are always in our thoughts and prayers. May each future day make life a little less stressful and a little more peaceful for you.
With love and friendship,
Vince and Marge

“Great neighbor on Hobonny at Hilton Head. We shared the MN connection, and wonderful fellowship in the Tangen home. My Don, gone in 2009, had great regard for George, and loved the warm and wonderful Jeanne, as did I. Condolences.
