Not sure what to say?

Georges' music was such an immense part of the soundtrack of my life. My father's favorite artist; we played his music to my dad in his final hours and now they lie not far from each other. What a gift his life and music were to us. Je te remercie infiniment, Georges. Repose-toi bien...

Au revoir Georges...rest in Eternal Peace...

I remember I was 20 years old when Georges first sang "Lo Straniero" in 1969, and those melancholic lyrics struck me as coming from a very mature, down-to-earth and experienced man, exactly what Georges was.May God show Georges His Face for eternity.

We have lost a great man, a talented man and wonderful soul.

My deepest condolences to the family during this time of sorrow. May your loved one rest in peace.(Ecc.9:5)B.Meill

"And no resident will say 'I am sick'". (Isaiah 2:4) May the God of all comfort be with you.

Monsieur Moustaki, Merci beaucoup to you for pulling me through life, helping me learn the beauty of the French language and French music and for getting me through college with a French minor which later led me to Paris. Oh what beauty, what beauty!both in your music and in your country. Tu vien reponsable de toujours pour ce que tu as apprivoise, tu deviens reponsable pour ta rose.

May you find comfort in your wonderful memories.
