The sweetest, nicest, kindest neighbor anyone could have. Always very friendly and with a smile. She will be missed by all, including by my son and nephew who loved walking to the "min-mill" house (windmill!).
To her family, our condolences to you during this time. May you find peace in your faith and comfort from all the memories you share.

Several years ago I was a notary working in a San Leandro real estate office when I met Gisela and her best friend Ingrid..Conversations were always peppered with giggles and laughter, gradually a friendship developed, and I was invited to have cookies and coffee in their homes.. We decided on occasion to go out to lunch..We had no particular favorite cafe, but Gisela once led us to a restaurant on CV Blvd. because liver was on the menu...Thereafter we always had it in mind to return for more...

Gisela you will be missed. Now you and my mom will sing and laugh together once again in another chorus.

Rest in Peace Tanta Gisela. Heaven has now been blessed with one of the happiest dancers and singers. I always loved watching the enjoyment on her face when she was on the dance floor along with Onkel Uwe's. They really did enjoy life! Love to all of you, Love Frank and Donna Petersen

My memories of the wonderful Gisela:
First of all I must apologize for using Gisela's first name, as she was the mother of one of my best friends, Gabriele, and a wonderful lady. But I began this strange trend when I was a bratty teenager by calling my own parents by their first names for a lark.
Anyway, Gisela was always unruffled by almost anything. Smile Smile Smile - she always had this wonderful welcoming smile. And food- she always had delicious food and was often cooking;...
