Querida Lydia,

Dear Gloria,

We met some years back in Las Cruces through your daughter Lydia and I cannot believe that you have been gone for a year! Everything was nicely placed and impeccable in your home. You had a great taste for decorating. It is so hard to lose someone you love, but when love has touched our lives, it remains forever in our hearts. I want to tell you that I care very deeply about all that your family is going through. I want for you to know that my prayers are with you,...

Gloria, Gloria,

What a great gal. We met in 1968 when we both worked for the Water Co. located on Stanton St. at that time. We enjoyed our lunch and coffee breaks, lamenting our having to work there and of course co-workers. When I quit in 1969 or 1970 we lost touch. Then around 2000, a friend said I want you to meet my son's mother-in-law. We met in Las Cruces and what to our surprise we met again. She looked at me and said I know you and I said I know you too. Much to the...

Dear Sister Gloria,

It has been a year since you left us and you are dearly missed even today. My comfort is knowing that you are home now in the arms of Our Lord and in the presence of His mother, Mary who you so loved while on this earth.

My prayer is for your children and husband; that they receive God's comfort and Blessings on the anniversary of your departure and everyday here forth. I ask the Lord to take care of them and watch over them always.

My Dear Aunt Gloria, Oh, how I miss your laughter and our long conversations. They used to make my day. I carry you with me in my heart and I think of you everyday. Love, Melissa San Francisco, CA

I knew Gloria back in the 1960's
we became friends, she was a wonderful
friend as well as an advisor.
she would always be there for someone in need, though we lost track of each other after the years I am fortunate to say that in the last 7 or 8 years
we kept in communication and had a great time reminiscing over a good meal, I miss her.
To all her family,God bless you
and I know she will always be in your hearts.

"In Very Good Company"

by Lydia (Gloria's daughter)

My mother, Gloria loved people and animals. Having great compassion for both, she never wanted to see anyone suffer from hunger or extreme temperatures. Through years of generous charitable donations and direct assistance, she sheltered, shielded, shaded, cooled, warmed, comforted and fed numerous humans and animals alike. She also taught us to enjoy, love, admire, care for and respect dogs, as we would...

23 Psalm

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou...
