Not sure what to say?

Dear Angie and family,

Sorry to hear of Gordie's passing. You folks were such good neighbors to my parents in Fridley. I will be praying for you.

Angie & Family,
I was saddened to hear of Gordon's passing. He was such a cheerful person and contributed so much to the community. My sincerest sympathies to all of the family. Let your wonderful memories help to heal and support you through this difficult time.

Angie & family,
I'm so sorry to hear the news of Gordie's passing. It was a privilege to work for Gordie at RI for many years! The fond memories will always make me smile, like attending staff meetings in his office with heat vents off so it would feel like a cold January day in Duluth, or how he'd insist that some day one could learn to love herring, if only they'd try it, and how beer and chocolate go so well together.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this...

Angie and family,

Deepest sympathies at Gordie's passing. It was an honor to work with Gordie for so many years at RI. He was a mentor and friend. I cherish those wonderful memories. Prayers of peace and comfort.

My husband, Dr. John K .Hansen, died almost 3 years ago. He told me many times that , were it not for Gordon, The Frridley schools would not have suceeded as they did all the years of his terms there. He was always supportive when it came to helping the students. The kids always came first! That is who he was!

Dear Ann,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Take care, and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Angie & Ann, I am SO sorry for your loss. Angie, how privileged I felt having had as many years as I did working with both you and Gordy at the Y. You both have always been in my heart. So many good memories. My thoughts are with you all.

Our hearts go out to you all. Gordie was such a lovely man, and we count ourselves to lucky to have known him. So many happy memories of his slow smile and the obvious joy his family brought to him.

To the Sangster Family,

I felt privileged to work with Gordon for many years while he was on the School Board. When my father passed away, he took the time to attend his visitation service. That one example of his thoughtfulness meant so much to me and will always be remembered. I am so sorry Greg and I will not be able to be at his memorial service. We will be on a trip out of the country. Our sincerest sympathies to your family.
