“Dear Greg's family:
I only met Greg last fall - he was one of the best students in the Introduction to Ecology class I teach at SFSC. He made tremendous contributions to our class and enhanced our conversation and environment with his wit and wisdom. I know he enriched my life and the lives of his classmates in the brief time we spent together and know that he will be greatly missed.
You have my deepest sympathies on his death.
“Dear Greg's family:
My sincere condolences on this tragic and untimely loss to you and your family.
“Dearest Candy and Kerry, My heart is so sad at the tragedy of losing Greg. He was a sweet soul and had just reached such spendid maturity. Candy had just remarked about 8 weeks ago how he was so changed and so great. I miss the young man I knew and the man he would have been in years to come. I pray he is gaming and happy where he has made a home now. He will always have a home in my heart and in my prayers. As long as I am alive so will be his memory. If I am ever needed to give you comfort...
“I had the honor of meeting Greg nearly a decade ago when he started working at EB Games with me. We quickly became close friends and my friends; his. I will never forget his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. He is missed, terribly. My heart goes out to Gregs family and friends...
“Most of my memories of Greg are of him as a child...and all the funny things that he would say. I last saw him at Lisa's college graduation, and I remember walking and talking with him during that visit. His quiet spirit stood out to me, and I really enjoyed talking to him and getting to know him as a man. I wish that I could have seen more of him as an adult, and at his passing I am reminded of the frailty of life. I wish I could be at the memorial to share in your tears and give many hugs....
“I met Greg through my sons, FJ and Travis. They would make movies and play games. He was always very polite and respectful. His parents should be very proud of their son. He was very nice young man and I enjoyed knowing him.
“Kerry, Candice & Lisa...just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
“I didn't personally know Greg but I do know Mrs Candace and Lisa! I am so very sorry for your loss! Prayers are with you all during the hard time!
“Greg was one of the best people I knew. He was extremely intelligent and witty, and wouldn't hesitate to help a friend in need. He was never fake and would always tell you his true feelings, which is a hard quality to find in people nowadays. I will miss him terribly and I wish his family all the best in their time of mourning.
