Not sure what to say?

I haven't seen Harry for over 50 years but I will never forget my Sr.year me and 4 other guys bowled in a Men's league which he also was in. We were bowling them for 1st place and I remember basically that if he didn't strike we won league, if he struck out, they won. We did everything but throw banana peels on floor. HE CALMLY IGNORED AND STRUCK OUT. ALWAYS A CLASS GUY.

The Cherrys were good friends of my parents, Ed and Betty Elsner. It is touching to read the comments and know how Mr. C helped so many young men in Seymour.

I always remember talking to Harry about Everett Dean, who I was a good friend of and used to take him to IU games, sitting behind the bench, thanks to Coach Knight.

Ill always remember the fond times at the Boys Club and always the good conversations we had! You were a great role model for young boys! Rip

This man touched so many hearts, and influenced so many youth, I personally owe so much of my character to him. RIP Mr. Cherry.

My condolences to the Cherry family. My the God of all comfort be with you at this time.
Act 24:15

My sincerest condolences to the family. Mr. "C" was above greatness. I can't even list the many ways he had helped me and the thousands like me who 'grew up' at the Boys Club. I am humbled to call him my friend.

My condolences to the family and friends

Mr. C. was very well respected man R.I.P Harry
