Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to lose Dr. Long. He was a gentle..calm...healing presence during my visits as a patient to Mayo Clinic. He always took time to answer my questions with care and a wide depth of knowledge. What an amazing interesting life! I was blessed to have him in mine! My deepest condolences to all who knew him and especially to Louise and his family.

Dr Long has been my oncologist at Mayo since my breast cancer surgery there in 2005. None of u know me, but I must tell you Dr Long was a wonderful, caring, gentle dr. I can't imagine my Sept appt without him. He has been through this journey with me and I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and sympathy are with his family for the loss of this great man.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said,...

Harry Long had amazing knowledge of the world of bells and was very kind about sharing what he knew with others. Many people have expressed their appreciation for his help.

Louise, please accept our condolences. Harry was taken from us way too soon. We...

My sympathy to the family of Dr. Long. He will be greatly missed by those of us who had the honor of working with him and by his patients. May he rest in peace.

Dr Long you will be missed. Thank you for all you have done for me !
My sympathy to all of your family.

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men!
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

It's not Christmas but I hear the Bells for Harry and his newly acquired wings. Bless you the family.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,

And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of...
