Not sure what to say?

Iva I cannot even begin to express my shock and sympathy. Tammy gave me the sad news. You keep in touch. Our prayers are with you, Trudi and Trish. Love you - Brenda Buchanan

Herb was always one with a smile and a kind word when I knew him at St. Pius. Iva and family, I am so sorry for your loss and hold you in prayer that our God and Father of our Lord Jesus comfort you in all your sorrow and give you peace (1 Cor. 1:3). Chris Gould Reynolds

Iva we were so upset when heard the news. Oh we loved you two so much. It was so sad when you left Lexington and moved back to Georgia. We will remember you in our prayers and I want you to know how much you are loved. My heart is empty for you. I pray Jesus will fill the void in your heart with peace. Jonell Weatherford Lexington Tenn. Dairy Queen and the crew that knew and loved you.

Lost track of Herb in recent years. But I remember well Herb's voice and cheerful sense of humor from our days at Scientific Atlanta. He was a great person and will be missed.

what a difference he made in our lives, very few like Herb

Iva our lives were enriched by knowing you and Herb. This is a great loss for all who knew him. An honor to have known him for too short a while.

John & Shirley Walker Parsons, Tn.

I had the great pleasure of working with Herb at Scientific-Atlanta during my 10+ year tenure and Herb was the epitome of a true professional and just the most wonderful person. I am deeply saddend with the tragic news of his passing; his presence will be greatly missed! My prayers are with the Ackerman family.

Obviously, Herb believed in the commandment to go, and share the good news, because within each condolence comment reference love, integrity, and compassion for those that was around him. He loved his God, and his family with great convictions that I believe we all has come to admire about such a great man in today’s world. It was truly an honor to have worked with him @ AZ in Lexington, Tn. He regularly spoke highly of his family whom we pray for your comfort, and understanding during...

I'm am shocked and saddened by Herb's passing. He was one of the first people that I met when I arrived in Atlanta in 1974 on recruiting duty with the Navy. He will be truly missed by all who knew & loved him.
