“I am so sorry to hear that Mr. Belew passed away. He was such a sweetheart and I loved seeing and talking to him at the Korner Resturant on Friday nights. He would give me a hug each and ever time. He will be greatly missed.
“My mother Debra Bateman worked with Herbert at VA Power. I got to know him very well when I would come by to visit. He was the nicest man and so funny with always a story to tell. My mother loved Herbert and thought very much of him as a person. She died 16 years ago to the day Feb 6th 1997. May old friends meet in heaven and share a few laughs together. Sincerly, Lisa
“I am so sorry to hear about your passing. I just saw the OB and I was so shocked. I will always remember all the laugh's we all had at the Korner rest. and all the Peanut Butter and Tomatoe sandwiches I made for you on Friday nights.
