From a retired Police Officer in Sydney to the McCoy Family belated best wishes. A horrible incident resolved through the sacrifice and bravery of Houston McCoy and the other brave officers on the scene. Condolences also to the families of the victims of the sniper even though it was now such a long time ago.

I was a 15 year old boy growing up in India on the other side of the world when I read about the UT sniper in the papers and the officer who took him out. Twenty nine years later I visited Austin, Texas to see the sight of the shootings.
Houston McCoy you are a hero and one of Gods angels. May you be with the Lord.

I watched a show called crime to remember tonight and I remember seeing footage of that day when I was a child. I want to say to Mr. Houston McCoy and his family that even though you do not want your name associated with that day, you were able to prevent a larger scale massacre on that day. May God be with, and RIP for your role in making sure more harm was not done on that day. God Bless you for living a very low key life and spending quality time with your family and friends. Can"t...
