Not sure what to say?

I offer my condolences to the Heilicher family on this great loss. I went to school with Ira and found him to be a very nice guy. Ira always had a smile on his face. This is what I remember.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss.

Ira was a generous mentor to me as a young salesman. I think often about things that he took time to share with me.

Anyone in his presence knew that he loved the music and he loved the music business. We discovered a shared interest in Frank Lloyd Wright and I learned that Ira brought enthusiasm, energy and delight to any pursuit. I am grateful for his lessons,

Although I hadn't talked to him since a high school reunion, I will surely miss the possibility of talking with him again, since we covered the gamut of human history! To Ira's family--I am so sorry for your loss. He is an unreplaceable guy--not like anyone else.

I really liked him. For the year I worked with him he made me wish he was thirty years younger so we could go on a road trip.

Hadn't seen him in a few years, but always thought about stopping by... knowing I can't - I'm missing him.

Sincerest sympathy from the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association. We enjoyed working with Ira and appreciated all of his good work to bring people to our beautiful riverfront. Melissa Bean

Ira contributed so much to the promotion and vitality of the Main Street area and overall Minneapolis Riverfront District. His vision, passion, wisdom, humanity and candor will be sorely missed, and he truly is gone way too soon.

Shocked. I had no idea. I feel such pain in my heart. I worked for Ira
in the 80's at Gamco. I've never worked for or known someone who
made you feel important in what you were doing yet was so humble.
I feel a great loss .

To Ira's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ira was a wonderful supporter of the Minneapolis Riverfront District. His work will always be appreciated by those of us who were lucky enough to have him on our team.

To the Heilicher family:
I offer my sincere condolences to you all for the loss of dear Ira. He was a true gentleman and contributed so much to the music community over the years. After working for his family back in the 60's and then with him in the 80's I watched him grow up.
I hope the wonderful memory of him is a comfort to you all now.
Sincerely,
