Not sure what to say?

The Cragun family would like to thank the community, family and friends for their support and kind words during this difficult time. Although we knew his time on this earth was ending, it has not made our loss any easier. Hearing stories about our beloved dad just fills our hearts and we appreciate everyone for taking the time to share with us. He was a special man and will be forever missed.
With much gratitude, Jeannine Cabreana

6th Grade class Rice School 71/72

I have very fond memories of Mr. Cragun. He was my 6th grade teacher at Rice School 1971/1972. He is part of the reason I'm a happy and successful person today. I remember he taught our class how to play the harmonica. I still know how to play those tunes on a harmonica to this day. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mr. Cragun had many students including myself that we learned life lessons from. He was my 6th grade teacher that spoke from his heart. He spoke very highly of his kids although I never had the pleasure to meet. He loved to hike, as he lead us during 6th grade camping trip. Years later he would visit me at work and we would visit and talk about old times. He will be missed but never forgotten.

I don't know much about your family. Me a Jeanine went to high. School together. She was one of my first friend cause I was new. Sorry to here about you dad. If there's anything me or family can do just let know.

Dear Cragun cousins, I love the pictures that you have posted they bring back so many memories. Uncle Jack was always so happy, had a great story to tell or something interesting gadget to show everyone. One of my favorites was his nose flute. One time when he came to visit Keith and VerNae I wanted my kids to get to know him. When he played his nose flute for them they laughed so hard. Uncle Jack was such a special man, his big smile and his wonderful laugh I will miss the most. I am...

Dear Daddy, Today we arrived in our home town of Santa Maria, to say our final goodbye. There has never been a greater example or influence in my life. Your goodness and love reached out to everyone you ever met. No one was a stranger. All who knew you loved you. My last years with you, reading, discussing, listening to Rush in the morning while doing your stretches. Sitting in the living room on DixieLee talking of pioneers and hardships and provisions are some of my favorite memories....

I have so many sweet memories of Jack. What a wonderful, kind man. I don't ever remember Jack without a smile and a kind word. What an example he was to all of us. I remember him taking me to the "Daddy Daughter Date" when I was in Primary, when my dad took my younger sister. I love the Cragun Family and want you to know that you and your father have made a difference in my life. It was great growing up with all of you in the Santa Maria Third Ward. You are loved. Thanks for...
