“Jack and I were not only colleagues (both nuclear engineers, in fact) in the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Fission Energy and Safety Program, but good friends as well. He and I shared many good moments over the years, some light-hearted, some not so. Jack always offered an interesting perspective on issues inside and outside of the Laboratory.
