I forgot to sign my name to my comment on Jan 9th. As I said I will miss you Jim.

Jim, i was so shocked and saddened by this news. You have always been a creative, thoughtful and coul guy and I will miss you. I am also sad that I didn't know you were ill to be able to support you in some way through that. We will always have a chair for you at our annual brunch!

Rest in peace, my friend. Sincere condolences to your family,

I was so sorry to hear that Jim had passed. He was a kind, cheerful friend to many. He had a ready smile and an open heart. I am so glad to have had the chance to chat with him at the reunion this summer. My sympathy to Jim's family.

Jimmy C. with his elderly friends at Uncle Shogs Christmas party...say hi to Monk . RIP.

I will miss you Jim, but have many happy memories of our adventures together. My condolences to your family.

I first met Jim in the fall of 1972 when we were wide-eyed freshman at UMD. A trait of Jim's that I think of when he comes to mind is that he was always such an engaged "listener" - which is something that most of us strive to be better at. He was empathetic when he needed to be and laughed when appropriate and therefore was an excellent conversationalist and I enjoyed our many and varied conversations over the years. We hadn't seen each other much the last few years but his memory...

Jim contributed a great deal when he was President of our neighborhood association. He was a wonderful neighbor, always willing to help and we miss his smiling face already,
