Dad there are no words to express what a wonderful father and grandfather you were. I thank God every day that you and mom adopted me into your family and gave me a chance to have a beautiful life. You will be missed more than I can ever express!!! Miss you so much. xoxoxox

We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim and I went to school together, played football together, and worked together at Tampa Electric co. My wife and I counted him a dear friend. Jim visited us several times in our home in Hiawassee, Ga.Our condolences to Betty and the family. Our love and prayers are with you.

Jim was a lifelong friend and neighbor to our family! We all will miss him, especially my Mom(Nanny)! He was always concerned for others more than himself. He came to the rescue of a neighbor countless times. We will forever be grateful for him. Love and Concern for all of you!

Jim was an important positive influence on my career at Tampa Electric Company. He demanded the best of himself and would accept no less from others. It was a pleasure to have worked for him. My sincere sympathy to the family.
