“A kind and gentle human being he was. Mr. Hight was always willing to give up his time to lend a helping hand. He was also always willing to take time to make you smile or laugh. How lucky heaven is to get him!
“Aldwin was my cousin on my Mother's side of the family and we only met a couple of times years ago. Aldwin and my cousin Mary Creasy, wrote a history of the Hight family and edited a memoir of his Father's life as a young man in Roseland, Va. which is in Nelson county. I admired him for these accomplishments and regret his passing knowing that I will no longer be able to correspond with him. Charle Lee Moody, Richmond Va.

My prayers go out to is family and friends during this difficult time of transition. Mr. Height helped me for hours putting my college essays together while I was applying to schools senior year. His spirit is amazing, humble and happy. Thank you for your help and time kind sir, you are a great man. So much love, R.I.P.

From Catcher In The Rye in the classroom, adolescent guidance, being in my wedding, and keeping up with me and my...

“Jay compiled a book with family pictures and the love letters of a mutual Aunt and Uncle who wrote each other during three years of World War II. We enjoyed getting to know him from his visits to my Mother's home in the Shenandoah Valley and through emails. He was a gracious and kind gentleman.
