Jim was a dear friend, a great dentist whose slow Southern draw and quiet sneaky smile made you think gentleman first and then Redneck. Jim and I have been good friends for 50 years. we met the first hour of dental school and for the next 4 years we were inseparable. We pulled each other through 4 tough years.
Tough years cause dental school was extremely physically and mentally challenging. While getting in and out of Baltimore in the 1960's (riots, fires, looting, etc.)was a life...

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Hoover's family during this sad time. He was a wonderful man and dentist and will be surely missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with family at this sad time. Dr. Hoover, you will be missed.

Beverly and Family. Words are so inadequate at such a time, but please know you are in our prayers. Trust you will lean into the loving embrace of our dear Savior and allow Him to comfort you as only He can. Pray that you take comfort knowing that your precious husband and dad has finally received his eternal reward and has heard the words "Well done!!...Enter into the joy of your Lord"....Words that I'm sure Jim had looked forward to most of his life, and for which he had served so...

To all the family, I was so saddened to hear of Dr Hoover's passing. I pray that the Lord will bless you all with peace and comfort knowing that He has called his faithful servant home to be with Him.

beverly ,my prays are for god to wrap his arms around you and all the family and take care of your needs in this time of sorrow ,dr hoover was a wonderful friend and dentist to my kids and he was more than our dentist he was our friend he is the one that told me my son ben couldn,t hear,he remember us with flowers when my daughter deanna got killed and melissa and ben still thinks he is the only dentist thier is ,beverly you are in my prays if i can help you please let me know, your husband...
