Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. Jim is a friend who had tremendous compassion. He was a great chef and made the most delicious gourmet meals. He always made me laugh and was the perfect gentleman. He had a great love for family and never left out mention of his family from a conversation. I'll always remember his story and his excitement telling when he met the Pope. I know Jim's passing is a great loss to his family and many friends. I love this man.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember how James wanted the best for his mom Theresa and to be sure she was safe.

Wow... now I understand why I couldn't get in touch by phone, email or anything. I will always cherish the memories and the correspondence. I feel blessed to know you personally and to be your "little sister". Jim, you will be missed.
Much love to the Picozzi family. I am so very saddened by the news of his passing. I pray for peace and comfort for all of you.

I was so very saddened by the news of Jim's passing. We had been friends for over twenty years; I have such incredibly fond memories of him. He taught me so much about food and cooking, I was so envious of his skills in the kitchen. He introduced me to sushi! He gave gifts of books to my son when he was a child to foster his love of reading. He helped me write my personal statement for my application to fellowship in forensic psychiatry, as we all know, he had a way with words. When ever I...

The Elcott Family sends their deepest condolences to the Picozzi Family. We all have fond memories of Jim. He was like a member of our family when we lived in Glenville, NY. He will be missed.

I practiced law with Jim for a number of years in Irvine. He was a mentor of mine and I learned much from him during that time. What I hold most dear, however, is not the lessons of the law, it is the memory of a man of great sensitivity, loyalty and dedication, with earnest, if not poetic, ideals of love, life, and family. He was a very good man, with a deep current of love that ran within him. Those things, and more, he will take with him. May God bless our friend, Jim. May God also...

Jim and I practiced law together for about five years at the Orange County office of a California law firm; he left to form his own practice. I also left the firm and practiced solo for about a year before retiring and moving back to my home state of Kansas.
Although Jim and I lost contact after I returned to Kansas, I still thought of him as a friend and continued to wish him well in his endeavors.
Jim was a very complex man: intelligent, with a depth of interests and ideas,...
