Not sure what to say?

A bosom buddy since 8th grade. Never met a stranger. Warm memories of countless hours in his company. He will be missed.

I worked with Jim in the tobacco markets way back in 1976 in Henderson, NC...would run into him around Richmond...was always smiling and had something funny to say...We both had daughters that went to University of Georgia...Go Dawgs!!

Dearest Claire, Richard and I are deeply saddened by Jim´s passing. We were so fond of Jim and his larger than life personality. He was one of a kind. Sending love and prayers. Paula and Richard Ritter

I just learned of Jim's passing. We had some great times at Collegiate and I had the opportunity of seeing Jim at Elon, where we continued our friendship. He was a good, quiet spoken and gentle person, whose heart couldn't have been a better fit for those animals to which he provided his care and comfort. There just aren't enough Jimmy Pollards, and he will be missed.

I haven´t seen Jimbo in years but I recall His laughter and ability to have fun -he will be missed

My good buddy-some great memories including some that are not repeatable-doc,Willy,Nat,the beach, and more-rest in peace my friend - Rocks

Claire, Jimbo was one of my closest friends in Richmond in the late '60s and early "70s. We were both single, and he was dating (and later married his first . . Toni). Wilson Trice & I were honored by being invited to attend and be groomsmen in their wedding in Boca Raton, Florida. I moved away, and lost touch with Jim over the years, but kept in touch through Wilson. I'll miss his large personality and his infectious gretting ("Mokie!!!"). I Love You, Brother!!! Joe...

I have many fond memories of Jim and of all of the fun times we had years ago and for many years. Rest In Peace, Jim.

Jimbo, you were a great friend to so many and will be missed by all. Simply the best, Adios, my friend.
