“Jim and Evelyn and the entire Raymond family have had a profound impact on my life. Their home has always been like a second home to me. When we returned to Nebraska for Christmas visits, I looked forward to taking my wife and kids over just to say hello to Jim and Evelyn. They always encouraged me to follow my passion and heart even when it led down the road less traveled. They always have been a source of encouragement and support.
“Ken and I know Jim through his son Dave, whose family moved next door to us in The Woodlands, TX, five years ago. Our lives have been enriched by all of the Raymonds. Our deepest sympathies go out to Evelyn, Steve, and Don and to all of Jim's extended family and friends. We hope that treasured memories will provide solace in the days to come.
“My fondest memories of Jim are during the time our son's Steve and Ryan shared their legion baseball experiences. Jim was very devoted to his son and shared that devotion to our son and other team players. I know he will be missed but he will be remembered by our family as a loving, caring father with high family commitment.
“Jim and I were so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We have wonderful memories of our Gering years and we are thinking of your whole family.
