Not sure what to say?

I first met Edwin Vaughan about 1987, when he came to my place of business in Mt.Airy, NC and purchased a brand new Honda riding lawn mower. He would come back from time to time, over the years, to talk or to get service for his mower. He and George (from Martinsville) would always visit me at my spot at the Labor Day Gun Show. Edwin Vaughan was always a pleasure to talk to and you can be proud to say that he was your father

I know you are at peace as well as your Dad. You done everything a wonderful daughter could have. I know he appreciated the many days you spent caring for him and providing support. Know that your selflessness will be rewarded in Heaven.

Ann & family,

So sorry to read about your father. He must have been a remarkable man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Donna, Ann and family, So sorry to hear of Mr. Ed's passing. He will be missed.

We have lost a great man from a great generation to the spirit world. I know he is at peace and happy to be reunited with Aunt Cordie.

Anne, I am so sorry to hear of your Fathers passing. I know as a very devoted Daughter you spent many days and weeks by your Mother and Fathers bedside over the years. I know that you would hsve been with him in the end, but family reasons would not allow it. He was a great man and I have lost a good friend of more than 50 years.

You should take solace that just 6 weeks ago he "sneaked" and called me to tell me how glad he was for the times you were truly by his side to nurse him back to health. Your relationship with your father existed on such a level above "worldly" gains that it has given me great insight into true charity and...

Donna, My thoughts are with you today. I shared with my mother the news of your father yesterday. We both send love and prayers. He has led a full life and an interesting life. Your memories will carry you through. He will be so missed at the July family reunion.

Donna, So sorry about the loss of your Father.
