Not sure what to say?

Dr. Janette Hoston Harris has left and indelible mark on our society from her civil rights plight for equal justice to her stellar DC Hall of Fame project. Your legacy lives on. Rest in Peace.

They went to Central State together and when I was in DC, 4 years ago, I arranged to have Jeanette reconnect with my brother who was ill at the time. I offer my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Harris family for your loss. Words alone cannot describe how I feel of Janette's passing. I am so happy that she and Rudy visited me for a few days in July. I will cherish that visit forever! She was such a dear friend, and my favorite Southern Belle.

"In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute." - Thurgood Marshal. Dr. Harris was visionary beyond Measure. She will be greatly missed.

Courageous, Compassionate, and Committed to making a difference in this world. My deepest condolences to the Harris family. Your mom was a very special person - who touched so many. She pushed me to do great things and often made me mad doing so - but I loved and admired her. Lifting you all in prayer and comforted in the knowledge that she is in paradise.
