Ron Eastbourne

Joe worked for me for 30 years .He was the most dedicated and loyal employee I had. Joe was a good friend and will be missed by manny
Dudley Eastbourne.

I spent many a deer season with Joe as a young adult, up at the "deer shack", many fond memories. Joe and my father were great friends and co-workers. Joe had a very positive influence on my life as a I was growing up. He was one of the good guys from the good old days. Joe was a fine man and a credit to his community.

Jeanne, as you know Joe was a great person and a fabulous officer of the VFW. I could not have hoped for a better person to follow me in the district chairs. My most heartfelt sympathies to you and the family at this time.

Jeanne and family
I wish there were words to make the hurt a little easier for you, but there are none.
Joe's passing brought back a flood of memories for me.
Jeanne was an attendant in our wedding in 1947.. Joe as we knew him was a host at the homestead somewhere in south Minneapolis during a backyard cookout. during that evening Joe gave Elaine his theory of creation and their discussion got joe's eyes aparkling to a point I still see him that way. Our paths separated over...

In behalf of the U.S. Navy Armed Guard WW II Veterans of which Joe served so gallantly in World War II on
7 cargo ships as a gunner and 1 LST plus 2 Fleet ships and was at the Bikini Atoll A-Bomb Test, we extend our condolences to you, the family and friends. Jeanne, we want to thank you and Joe
for hosting one of our National Reunions there in Bloomington and doing such a surperb job. I am glad
our paths crossed in this lifetime and
we will all join in with...
