“It's been a year and I miss my friend u will always be in my heart and mind.
“I met Rene in the fall of 1997 through a mutual friend. I worked at the local Humane Society at that time. Rene told me a very sweet and endearing story of how she had helped a disoriented and frantic skunk who had managed to get his own head stuck inside a peanut butter jar. It was a fabulous story and revealed to me so much about her character.
