Jeffrey D. Bellmore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey David Bellmore. Jeff was 73 years old and passed away on October 21, 2025 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Jeff was born on August 8, 1952 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Grand Forks, ND to Joseph G. and Esther E. (Wageman) Bellmore. Jeff was the second of seven children. He attended elementary school – high school in Grand Forks. Jeff lived and worked in both Grand Forks and the Bemidji area.

Jeff was self-motivated and often said, “He didn’t have time for a rocking chair.” He was a journeyman plumber who worked at UND, Home Depot in Bemidji and Wagner Plumbing and Heating in Bemidji. He had a true hobby farm where he enjoyed hockey, dirt bikes and working on old cars. He was a hunter and fisherman and loved dogs too.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 54 years Carol and sons Paul and Phil Bellmore. He is also survived by his siblings Randy Bellmore, Diana Uggerud, Maria Vasichek, and Joe Bellmore Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents Esther and Joseph Bellmore and siblings Debby Minton and Richard Bellmore.

Jeff was a people person who was devoted to his family. He was an excellent son, brother, husband and father. He was a true friend and maintained many friendships throughout the years. He was loved and will be missed!
